I5 or i7 for gaming pc

Hi,
I'm building my own pc and I am wondering if i should get a i5 or a i7 CPU,
This pc will mainly be used for gaming, general use and the occasional video rendering / photoshop which processor should I buy?

i5 is for gaming, i7 is for high performance.Basically both works but depends on your budget.
