i5 or i7 thans runs on lga1156?

hi guys my Motherboard is Dh55pj lga1156 and im currently using and i3 540
im planing to replace it with i5 or i7 but it dont know wich generation of i5 or i7 that fits lga 1156.
can u give me models of i5/i7 that works on lga 1156

it seems that 1st generation i5 and i7 was bad, i compared it to 3rd gen i3 and they are evenly match.
will it be better if i buy new Motherboard like lga1155?

Hello... I'm quite pleased with my 1155 and i7 3770 , but is not new since the 1150 has come out... but OLD generation can mean better $ price points and same performance at this time. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/common_cpus.html
The ix 4000 series are 1150's

yes but i guess LGA1156 is to old now. i7 and i5 using lga1156 where weak assuming their price is more than 3rd gen i3/i5. im looking forward to check 1155 and 1150 thanks
