I5 vs i7 on ASUS laptop.

No matter what it is if you are just an average user who likes to browse the web, send emails, watch videos, etc you do not need an i7 you would never be able to tell the difference, in fact you probably dont even need an i5 an i3 should be plenty fast enough for those tasks.

i5 4210U is a 2 core 4 thread running at 1.7Ghz boost 2.7Ghz
i7 5500U is a 2 core 4 thread running at 2.4Ghz boost 3 Ghz

Depending on what the rest of the laptop has in it, you have to ask is the extra speed and slightly better intel graphics worth paying the extra for the i7?

Is there an option for the i5-5200u on the model you're looking at? I'd take that over the 4210.
