Question i7-10700 maxing out when playing anything

Recently built a new computer. After completing the new build I did a fresh install of Windows and made sure to get all the proper drivers installed for my new hardware. After all installs were complete, I tested out some of the following games: Halo Infinite, BF2042 and FH5. All games that I tested had my CPU maxing out at 100% and made the games unplayable. I have gone through the BIOS a little to see if there is anything to tweak to improve performance.

What am I missing here?

i7-10700 (Water Cooled)
32 GB DDR4
RTX 3070
MSI Z490-A-Pro
1440p 144Hz Monitor

check cpu temp? what freq when it is running at 100$
brand and model of the psu?

Haven't check to see if I am on the latest BIOS

CPU temps go from 50c-60c

PSU: CORSAIR - RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS Gold

I might have figured it out. Looks like my motherboard was setting my DRAM to 800MHz and not to 2133MHz
