Gaming performance is almost the same. The 10700k would be my choice between the two.

U go for 10700k a cheaper 9900k unless u have a z370 mobo with bios update that support 9th gen or a z 390. If u need to buy new mobo u get 10700k the same performance but u have a mobo that has future upgrade path.
