Hello everyone!I want to change my pc hardware.Right now I have an i5-4670 and I would like to upgrade to i7-10700k.
The question is which i7 is better.I heard that i7-9700k is better than i7-10700k.I plan on using my pc for games and also for rendering in blender and unreal engine mostly (baking lights,exporting/importing,etc).Is there a difference?

My pc right now:
CPU:i5-4670
GPU:nvidia 1060 6gb
256 ssd+1tb hdd
16gb ram

I plan on building:
CPU:i7 10700k
GPU:same
32 gb ram
256ssd+1tb ssd

So what cpu should I buy?I prefer intel over amd.
I will also change the motherboard,I still have to decide.
Any thoughts and suggestions will help.
Thank you!

The 10700k is 8c/16t vs 8c/8t for the 9700k. The added threads will probably help for Blender. The 9700k runs cooler and uses less power than the 10700k. Alternatives would be the 3700X, 3800X, or 3900X from AMD. The 3700 & 3800 are 8c/16t and the 3900 is 12c/24t. They will all use the same one less power than the 9700k.

Is there a problem with power?I have an RM850 corsair. Is it good enough for i7 10700k and everything else?

That will be plenty for the PSU. Just remember that for every watt of power drawn, you have an almost identical amount of heat you have to remove. The max power draw of the 10700 is 225W, that means to keep it cool at boost speeds you will want a cooler that can remove more than 250W of heat. Tack on $100+ for a CPU cooler capable of cooling a 10700k. Note if 225 W is being drawn and the cooler can remove 225W then the temp will be about 100C. The max for the 9700K is about 180W. For the 3900X is 150W, 130ishW for 3800X, and 90W for 3700X.
