Question i7-14700k vs i9-14900k

i thought I was set on the 14900k but after reading this below article (see bottom of thread) and tests I think I'm leaning towards a i7-14700k CPU.
The almost $200 difference in price for the i9-14900k doesn't seem worth it for the minimal increase in productivity.
I use my CPU for trading and productivity only - no gaming.
Am I wrong to think I won't really notice any performance power by going with the i7-14700k?

This is where you mention what apps you want to tax your current system with. Yes you look at benchmarks for the apps you use on a daily basis to understand if the upgrade is worth it. Speaking of which, what sort of specs are you working with now?
