Hello i was wandering if it is normal for a non overclocked i7-2600 to be showing above 3.4ghz in cpuz. My core 0 bounces around alot and goes upto 3.7 ghz sometimes. Is this just a bug or is something wrong please help!

Solution
Don't disable turbo?

Turbo is a mechanism that just elevates your core frequency up and down whenever more performance is needed.

An i5-3570 for example is clocked at 3.4 Ghz but can go up to 3.8 Ghz, when under heavy load. It's a compromise between great performance and lower power consumption.

Turbo comes with every non-k i5 or i7, it's perfectly normal.
