Hey guys,
I'm a newbie building a sub $900(not including monitor/peripherals) machine primarily for 3D rendering and some gaming on the side. I've decided on a i7 2600k CPU and a GTX 460 GPU. I've chosen some parts off Newegg but I'm not entirely sure if they're good and/or compatible with the rest, though from what I can see they are. Here goes:

i7 2600k (279.99 locally)

EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB (159.99)

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower (59.99)

Regarding the cooling system - I will be overclocking as high as possible, as rendering is very CPU dependent. When this machine is rendering, it'll be going for days at a time nonstop. That being said, which do you think is better for my purposes, water-cooling or air-cooling? I've narrowed it down to the Hyper 212+ for air and the H80 for water. Also, am I missing any essential parts?

I'm set on the CPU and GPU, but for the rest I pretty much went through Newegg and found parts with good reviews that seem compatible. I chose the mobo because it's cheap and got good reviews, and I didn't choose the Z68 for any particular reason. I'm pretty clueless about the PSU, but I think 600W will be enough. If you think any of these parts aren't good enough, aren't compatible, if there are better options (namely the PSU and mobo) or have any other general recommendations please tell me because, as I've said, I'm new to this.

Thanks in advance.

If your going to be pushing the OC You may want to get the noctura d14 It out cools the H80. The Z68 has onboard graphics you may wanna look for a p67 if you can find one for cheaper. Rendering is also Ram intensive, but if your on a budget stick with the 8 gb you can always get more later.

Another thing to check is the clearance. I know the Noctura can clear g.skill ram, not sure bout corsair.
