I recently decided to upgrade my pc. And apperently I7 2600K is still a viable cpu for gaming if u oc it to around 4.2ish. As someone who never tried to OC before, i have some questions; is my cpu cooler, power supply etc. enough for OC?(Power supply Aerocool Strike X 800W 80+ Plus Silver 66A-12V Single Rail and CPU cooler Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer) and second what should i consider to upgrade my current GPU to?( MSI Geforce GTX 560-Ti Hawk). I am guessing my current mobo MSI P67A-GD53 is not supporting gtx 9xx series. Thank you for any advice.

Your motherboard supports any PCIe x16 graphics card, so yes it should support the GTX 9XX series just fine. If you need a new graphics card, they're probably the best ones to buy currently. Beware that AMD will be releasing the new R9 300 series with new HBM memory in a week or two.

Your PSU is a tier 4 model, which is very low quality. I would recommend getting a new power supply in at least tier 2 if you want to overclock your 2600K. Your CPU cooler is of decent quality, but you might not hit 4.2GHz on it, depending on the motherboard.

GTX 9xx series might be a little bit expensive and unnecessery for me but should i wait for AMD to release 300 series to buy a GPU even i will probably not gonna buy AMD?
