Hello guys,

I have a i7 2700k 3.5 ghz processor and i'm now on Windows 10. Just did a clean install of Windows 10 1803 build and was installing all my drivers when I noticed they did not have a Windows 10 'Intel Graphics Driver' for this product. I tried downloading the latest 64 bit version they had which was designed for Windows 8, and it would not allow me to install that.

How can I get the intel graphics drivers installed on my device? Is this something not needed in Windows 10 or why did they not support it? I didn't think my CPU was that old... but perhaps it is.

Will there be any performance issues without it? I have the latest Intel Chipset Driver, but I don't think that's the same... do I even need an Intel Graphics Driver? not sure what the difference is there.

Thanks for any help you can give.

- Yes you could be all set! you can run your system with 980ti as primary graphics without even worrying about installing checking whether your HD3000 was installed correctly (but is recommended to check by plugging monitor to onboard graphics, checking bios for proper settings IGX as primary, booting in windows and right click desktop to show intel control panel entry in the context menu or launching it through control panel)

- install GPU-Z and check at the bottom of it's window the drop menu toggling between available graphics.
- If you would like to use your intel 3000 HD integrated graphics:
- First go to Bios and check under advanced menu graphic card options ( check online your motherboard manual to...
Oh I see. No, I have a Nvidia GTX 980ti as my primary GPU output... does this mean I am all set, and this Graphics Driver is just the default graphics driver in the case I did not have a GPU?

- If you would like to use your intel 3000 HD integrated graphics:
- First go to Bios and check under advanced menu graphic card options ( check online your motherboard manual to help finding it ) and verify what graphic choices are available and Bios switching mode: some Bioses have auto (or primary) option auto-detecting attached graphic output at boot, some other Bioses don't and won't show display if output doesn't match Bios choice ( integrated IGX or discrete PEG)
- If Bios has AUTO or PRIMARY option you could just leave it as it is and reboot after switching your monitor input to the integrated card, if none of theose options switch manually default output in Bios to IGX (= integrated) and reboot attaching your monitor again to the integrated graphics.
- Once in windows when right click on desktop you should see context menu for intel graphic options to launch intel control panel, by the way intel graphic driver won't install completely if you were using your Nvidia as output ( at times it doesn't install at all and gives an error message), so you might need to re-install them.
