Question I7 3770 as starting place to build cheap PC?

Hi everyone. Someone gave me their old i7 3770 because my current 10 year old PC is dying. He said this processor is a ton faster than what I had, but I have no clue what to buy with the 3770 as my starting piece. Most intensive thing I do on the computer is play all The Sims games. Any suggestions or tips? Trying not to spend a lot here or I'd just buy a totally new PC

An i7 3770 is still decent to build around for a low budget gaming PC or for that matter a basic PC. What do you have to work with to start "Reuse" and what kind of budget are you looking at?
