[SOLVED] i7 3770 bottlenecking rx 570

iv just put an i7 3770 into my pc with an rx 570 and for some reason while the cpu is running at 100% the gpu barely even runs at 30% and all games are unplayable. my old i3 3220 ran better than the i7

There's no real significant bottleneck there , actually a decent pairing.

What motherboard do you have? Does the support page for the motherboard list that i7 as supported? When you installed it did you clean off the old thermal paste from the heatsink and apply new thermal paste to the CPU?

Does this CPU operate normally outside of games? When you are on your desktop, is it operating at the clockspeeds specified by Intel? Are temperatures normal?

Sounds like you are playing on low resolution. Increase resolution and in game settings will transfer the load to the GPU.
