Hi, so up until a few weeks ago I had my i7 3770 non k's multiplier set to 39. Now in the bios for some reason I can only set it as high as 37. Any ideas? I've tried rolling back the bios to previous version with no luck. Also Bclk when set at 100 says in bios that it's only actually at 99.79mhz which to me seemed odd, never noticed that before.

So, I edited power profile and made processor min to 75% instead of 100% how it was set previously, seems to have helped, still getting the occasional spike but much less. :)

Excellent, glad to hear. It's a very capable processor, I like it a lot. I'm using the Noctua NH-D14 air cooler, which is a very large cooler. But it keeps the 3770K nice and cool.
