I7-3770 recommended PSU

I don't know much about computers but I want to build one. I want to get an I7-3770 and a NVidia GeForce gtx 660 ti. would a 500w power PSU be enough to power this (another question will my gpu bottleneck my cpu?)

I suggest getting a good quality PSU, you can get away with 500 watts but this one is on sale right now and is semi-modular. Also your gpu is fine just depends on what you are trying to run with it? and what resolution, also this PSU would allow you enough watts to run SLI later if you wanted and if your Mobo allows it
