i7 3770 rx 480 8gb

hi all

will an i7 3770 (non k) maxed out an 8gb rx 480?

others:
mobo asus h61m-c
1600mhz 4x2 ddr3 dual channel
pny 120gb ssd
500gb 7200
cm v550s 80+ gold
freesync 144hz 1ms 1080p

The i7 3770 is still a powerful card, and could even be paired with the GTX 1080.

I7 3770 is still fine choice for CPU.
I'm not sure can you do this with you board but with z77 and z68 you can push slight OC on non K cpu's of total +400 Mhz for each turbo step.
That should give you some extra performance if you want.
So you should be getting something like this
43 Multiplier for 1 & 2 Cores =4.3 ghz
42 Multiplier for 3 Cores =4.2 ghz
and 41 Multiplier for 4 Cores =4.1 ghz

It is quite easy to do it if your motherboard supports it.

Watch out which model you gonna buy cuz some of them are bad with cooling.
Asus,MSI,Sapphire, XFX are good ones if you gonna get RX 480.

yeah currently on r9 380 oc nitro w/backplate. good temp at 1100/1600 oc 20% power limit.

so i guess the 480 s gonna be the sapphire nitro+
