i7 3770 vs i7 4770 (non k)

ok i found 3770 for about 200 bucks and 4770 for 430 is 4770 really worth 40 bucks

The difference is slim the single core performance is 6% better and the 4770 has Intel HD 4600 GPU and 3770 have HD 4000 GPU doesn't matters at all if you have a GPU so you can save the money and go for an i7 3770.

For me the difference would be worth $40 for the extra reliability of Haswell + (not that Ivy Bridge is unreliable by any means, but the low quality thermal paste was a pretty big issue) the extra overclocking headroom (not that it applies to yourself).

what does the thermal paste have to do with a processor you can easily get a TP from the store its very cheap plus one more thing the ivy bridge locked processors can be OC to about 400 mhz but the haswel locked processors cannot be OCed.

I'm talking about the internal heatspreader thermal paste. Didn't know that about Ivy Bridge non k processors though!
