I7 3770k 150FPS Minecraft?

He guys i just got my new computer today, but i think i could get higher fps on minecraft then 100 to 250 fps. i know i don't need so much fps but still i think its weird or is it normal. my processor is also overclocked to 4.4Ghz.

Specs:

i7 3770k (4.4Ghz)
GTX680 Twinfrozr msi
16GB Vengeance
Windows 8

You should probably use something other than Minecraft as a benchmark for a CPU of that caliber. Besides, it's mostly the video card, not the proc. Download and run 3Dmark11 and compare your score to benchmarks with the same setup, see if it compares.
