I7 3770K And GTX 680 on Windows 8

I am going to buy a gaming computer in about 1 or 2 months but i ain't going to stick with windows 7 anymore, but does the I7 3770K and GTX 680 works well with Windows 8? please answer, thanks 😀 (O ye, and im going to overclock it to 4 ghz or something)

It works exactly the same as windows 7.

Windows 8 is rather new though so it still needs some smaller fixes, but you should be fine

though personally i wouldnt pay the extra for a gtx680 when a gtx670 is so close in performance to it but a lot cheaper

I own computer shops, we are NOT selling any GAMING machines we build with 8 on them ...only 7...

8 is too flaky for games yet...

Have you tried it? It's anything but flaky, at least in my experience...

Of course I have tried it lol, we have had it for months, both Preview and Retail....

All you have to do is read some of the threads on here if you don't believe its flaky in games....there are a LOT of them...

I just had to wipe one of my friends' machines and put 7 on it because he was having trouble playing a few of the games. There is no benefit to having 8 over 7 in gaming but there is the other way round.
