I7-3770k overclock?

Hi ive been trying to overclockmy i7 processor and i can take it to 4ghz and thats it anymore and the computer will just keep cycling restart, so i have to remove the battery to reset it, is there something im doing wrong has anyone manged to exceed this amount whith what voltage?

Any help is appreciated.
my spec:
Bitfenix Colossus case
MSI Z77A-G45 Motherboard
i7-3770k cpu with Hydro H80 liquid cooler
2x4Gb corsair vengeance ram Blue
750 watt OCZ 80+ Bronze psu

maybe up the voltage? im not to sure i had the exact same problem and i couldn't fix it the mobo was the msi z77a-gd5 but it was at 4.5 and i couldnt get it any higher. im not so good at overclocking tho.
