I am upgrading my CPU from i5 3450 to either i7 3770K or i7 3770 but i was wondering is there absolutely any performance boost the K series CPU gives 'without OC', as far as i know it doesn't, as i don't want to OC and add cost for a new heatsink and fan, is it better for me to opt for non-K version, instead.

I am absolutely not gonna play games on this PC. I want it for 3D (3d MAX) and FULLHD video rendering (After Effects and Premiere). I have a GTX 650 Ti 1 Gb, so i don't care for integrated graphics.

How big is the difference in performance is from i5 3450 to i7 3770?

Also, can somebody please provide link for a detailed i7 3770 review and benchmark, because wherever i looked, most sites provide the K version review.

Thank you.

Solution
Sure. Sorry, misunderstood. :)

This should give a good direct comparison between OCd and non-OCd

Yes, but the difference must be something. Is there some way i can find them pitched against each other. OC vs NonOC?

Those are in every review out there for the 3770K. Just check the number with and without OC...

Can you provide a link to a site that provides 'specifically' that information, that will be helpful. Like is said I've tried and failed, that's why i asked for help.

Actually i am going for non-K version, because it won't mean added cost and higher power consumption, plus, i am sure difference between i5 3450 to i7 3770 will be significant enough to keep me happy. Now, that it is confirmed 3770K doesn't provide any benefits at stock-speed, there is no more reasons to spend extra for a few percentage of performance boost.

Thank you for your help.
