Hello!

i´m goin to buy the new CPU I7-3770K...but cant spend much on MB.
So i would like to know if this motherboard is compatible with the CPU. The MB is GIGABYTE GA-Z68P-DS3 (rev. 1.0).

The website says it supports 22nm CPUs, so I think you'd be ok. However, if you already have a computer running a Sandy Bridge CPU, upgrading may not be worth it.

I dont have a sandy bridge. i had a Quad Core Q9550, and i took the CPU out of it´s socket to clean it and droped it on the floor 😀....and broke it...so i had to buy a new LGA 775 CPU (E5700) to be able to do things with my pc...but even my wife noticed that it´s slower...

so i waited for the ivy bridge...
