i7 4770 or Xeon E3-1230 V3 or i5 4670K

Hi, i just recently bought gigbyte G1.Sniper B85 1150 socket motherboard + Kingston 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 ram, I'm looking for CPU which is good for gaming and rendering and give at least 3-5 years good gaming experience .My budget is 340$.

You can't overclock the i5-4670K (the slightly faster i5-4690K often is less expensive); if you don't need the processor graphics, then the Xeon should meet all of your requirements.

Edit: Why did you choose the i7-4770 instead of the i7-4790? Unless you had the motherboard for a long time, it should already have the F6 BIOS released on 2014/01/24.

Xeon e3-1231v3 without a doubt. Unless you don't use a dedicated GPU, in which case you will have to pick the i7 4790. They are equally fast but the xeon is like $60 cheaper, save those up for a nice dinner or something.

As you will be doing some rendering and gaming, I would suggest you to go with E3 1230 V3 and a good Graphics Card like GTX 970. The advantage of getting E3 1230 V3 is you can save some money and invest it in getting a good GPU and still you can enjoy all the features of 4790/4770.
