[SOLVED] i7-4770 vs i3-10100

simple question. i know the spec, saw a lot of youtube videos where the comparison with heavy GPU.

if I buy either one of them and don't use GPU.
what are the results in games like Fortnite? low setting.

and if add GPU it might be old gen Rx 570 4gb or simpler.

work, gaming, movies and want to start youtube channel with streaming.

you have a great cpu (in my mind anyway)...good single cpu performace and good cache. but for some dam*** reason AAA games demand intel 6th gen and above.

for streaming YT you will need more gpu.

now is a bad time for a upgrade anyway.

have you looked at a higher d/l rate from your isp?

do u mean the 12th gen is coming out, but I don't think it will really effects the prices for these old one that much, and I'm getting either of these used and are identical in prices.
since GPU will not be purchase until it comes in my budget or i save for.
As Currency is unstable in my country, due to many reason. USD 1 = PKR 167, so the prices suddenly skyrocketed further.

An i7-4770 is socket 1150. Getting a compatible motherboard and cooler might be a challenge unless you already have them.

An i3-10100 is socket 1200. At least socket 1200 is current and well supported, so that would be preferable.

In my country is is available, but i7-4th processor price is being sell at the price of used i3-10100
Mobo is 2-4thgen gen is used but cheaper then new 10th gen. 6-9th gen near 10gen Mobo.
