i7 4770 w/ r9 270x vs i5 4670 w/ r9 280x

i do gaming, recording with fraps-dxtory, live streaming and some 1080p render,
they both cost same so which one?

The 4770 would be better at the streaming and rendering, but you will have better fps in games on the i5+ 280x

For gaming I'd take the i5 option. For the other tasks you listed the i7 option. Prioritise which one you'll do more and choose that one.

You could look at a Xeon 1230v3 as a mid-price-point option and its essentially the equivalent of the 4770, but with a little lower clockspeed.

Good option. If you can afford the Xeon 1230 v3 + the 280x then that would be best of both worlds.
