I7 4770k or 8350k

Basically my friend is willing to sell me both at half price, and i don't know which to choose. I've heard that the 8350k out performs the 4770k and that it's more future proof. I've also heard that the 4770k beats the 8350k single handily. I need to know which to pick and I won't be buying for about 3-4 years. I'll be using CAD software, primarily for Solidworks and gaming at 1440P. I need your UNBIASED advice please.

For that use I suggest you the i7-4770k BUT with a good RAM 8GB or more in dual channel configuration.

By 8350k you mean 8350. i think you should get the 4770k with some good ram
