Good Day

I just bought a pc, My problem or not is that during Intel Burn Test, my cpu spikes to 90°C for 1-2 second and then drops down to 65°C. It is almost like the fans need time to kick in. Idle Temp is 29-32 and gaming 58-64.

Components:

i7 4770k 4.5ghz v1.282
H100i Liquid Cooler
Msi Z87-GD65
Msi Gtx 760 4gb
Corsair GS 800

Solution
It's prolly just a fluke at this point. Temp sensors don't actually measure the CPU core temp. The sudden increase in voltage combined with the interval that the unit reports temp is prolly causing that spike you have. I wouldn't worry about it.
It could be that the fan's are delayed, I know in my Power Options I can choose Active or Passive CPU control to determine whether the fan or CPU ramps up first.

Really a non-issue in reality though since you'd be operating at much lower temperatures that won't hit your max CPU temp.

I've set that the fans are on max when cpu reaches 50, but there is still a bit of a peek of 87-90. But with lowering the temp for max speed, the fans also run at a high speed at lower temp. Its not a problem doing that, just wondering if that peek would cause problems to the cpu. Even Intel Burn Test with fans on max, it peaks for 1-2 seconds and then drop to 62-65.

You could try setting up the fans to max and see what happens to the temps. And I mean constant max. Not max. from a specific temperature on.

Also, do those spikes happen to all cores or just a single one?

Yes, its across all cores. Have tried it on an constant max (fans running max during idle). But still that 1-2 second spike.

Ok, maybe it just me. I just ran Intel Burn Test on my laptop now (stock i7 3610QM) with Core Temp . Same thing happen, load goes too 100% and temps across cores is 88-95 and then after 3-4 seconds down to 70°C. Seems like its just maybe me worrying, can understand that some time is need to cool things down and to get fan running at 100% before heatsink can perform its job. Am I correct in staying this

You could also try another monitor tool. Just to confirm the results.

But everything considered, I wouldn´t worry that much.
Maybe if you have some free time, try reseating the cooler and reapplying the thermal paste. But I don´t think it´s necessary.
