i7-4770k vs i5-7600k

Hi PC builders and enthusiasts,

I know the i7-4770k vs the i5-7600k seems like an odd comparison, but these are the options available to me on craigslist. They both have similar specs in ram and gpu.

I am a design/video/photo (content creation) student, and I do not have the time and resources to build my own at the moment.

Which cpu is better for my needs. Not a heavy gamer, I just want good processing for adobe products and rendering.

While the newer i5-7600K would be a nice system to have, the i7 has twice the thread count as the i5 and would be more ideal for rendering/editing. *If you will be editing large videos, you would also want 16GB of RAM and a SSD to keep the videos on while your are editing them to improve performance.

For your needs the 4770k is a better choice in my opinion.
