I'm getting a 4770k and I'm wondering if the ram is compatible with it, it is G.Skill
F3-1866C10Q-32GAB. I heard that you can if the mobo supports it.

Here is my rig (mostly gaming/streaming[maybe] while doing heavy browser stuff and want it to last many years without upgrading it).

Planning on getting the 780ti instead.

Doesn't matter, the DRAM will be fine and will run at full spec, there are a lot of folks out here that don't know RAM or CPUS and make suggestions on something they have read and really don't know - good example was given here - i.e. you being told your CPU only supports max of 1600 - because if it was true I've now built over 26 rigs on 4770Ks that must be phantoms or something since I have yet to build a K model Haswell with anything under 1866 - and most all (4770K and 4670K builds are 2133 and up, mine is 4770K with 32GB of 2666)...

So with that myth out of the way - yes you'll be fine, the Snipers run great on your CPU/mobo Combo, which is one of the best out there (same as mine 😉 ) - if planning memory centric work, and...

Thanks for the reply Tradesman1, really good looking ram, might be a little pricy for I can save up a little more for them.

Also, what did you think of the build?
