Hi guys,
I was trying to OC my pc and i can't get to more than 4.3 ghz. I tried OCing manually and automatically with the 4-way-optimization from Asus. Whats wrong ?
My set is: i7-4770k
Corsair H100i
Asus Z87 deluxe-dual
16 Gb ram @ 1600 (not OCd)
Windows 8.1
124 Gb SSD
And 750 watts PSU

Solution
Remove the overclock for the GPU and try going up again with the cpu overclock and raise it by 1 for each core each time and check it.
Also make sure you go thru the Digi power settings and crank the settings there as high as you can or use the 4 way optimization.
Check your voltages, adjust it manually, till you get a stable overclock.
You could always just google on how to overclock your cpu on your motherboard and compare your settings to other people that have successfully overclocked theirs to 4.6 - 4.7
Some CPUs just aren't able to. When you buy a CPU, you get one that is rated to perform at the listed rates. You pay for the k version to have the unlocked multiplier. You don't get any guarantee of how much you can over clock it. It really depends on the CPU itself. You can never say for sure your CPU will get what someone else got.

That said, what settings are you using?

i'm ending up with this settings:
Core 1: 43
Core 2: 43
Core 3: 42
Core 4: 41
Cache ratio @ 39 X
and all Voltages on Adaptive Mode

I've noticed that the GPU is also OCd to 1352 Mhz, and i'm currently using the intel graphics. Could that limit my OC ?
