I plan on mostly gaming, and I wanted to OC the i5 as well, but I can get i7 for 10 eur cheaper but only the S version, so in overall performance which one should I go for?
Here's the initial specs but it's not yet decided:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC12DX
GPU: GIGABYTE GV-R928XOC-3GD (rev 3.0)
Motherboard: Asus Z97 PRO Gamer
PSU: FSP700-50ARN 88+
RAM: G.Skill DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1866 Kit Sniper Series
Case: NZXT Lexa S
I have a chance to get some of the components cheaper (but as far as I understand, used for a little while, some parts still have warranty)
i7-4770S
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3
ASUS Radeon R9 280X
Corsair CX750M
Kingston HyperX Predator 2666MHz DDR3 8GB
Arctic Freezer i30 CO
well, the mobo is a bit weaker than what I intended but since I won't be able to OC, then it should be good enough, probably gonna grab this PSU and I would take the GPU but as far as I read Asus has the most artifacting problems of them all...
Which parts are worth taking and putting in my gaming rig?
