Will an i7 4790 (non K) bottleneck an gtx 1080 G1 gaming using any resolution?

No and resolution does not directly impact CPU usage. Actually higher resolutions can have a lower CPU usage due to lower fps

Even my i5 4460 will not bottleneck it. It's the fastest haswell

I'm almost running that same combo , absolutely no issues.

4790K and EVGA ACX 3.0 Gaming.

CPU is not OC at the moment.​
