That board doesn't support SLI or CF. That's why you need the Z boards for SLI in this case.

Here's a Z97 ATX one $110, $90 after rebate:: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130801&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Here's a Z97 micro-ATX one for $122: http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=96901&vpn=GA-Z97MX-Gaming%205&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1287

both these boards support SLI.

Yes you'll be fine. I ran 290X Crossfire, 780Ti SLI, and 390X crossfire on my 4770K @stock clocks (slower than 4790) with no issues. Just make sure you have a good power supply.

ok thanks mate

hey why z boards are recommended? is it necessary bcoz im trying to save money i already have a h81 m-d from asus
