i7-4790 non k + gtx 1080 can cause bottleneck ?

Hi, this calculator sayes that i7 4790 will bottleneck gtx 1080 https://thebottlenecker.com/calculator
But i read alot of posts where people said it will not bottleneck 1080.
So i am just curious if is it true or not

Depends on the game , but overall a good pairing.

That website is beyond garbage, don’t use it.

At 1080p I think you will find the cpu limiting in some cpu heavy games but it will still be very playable. At 1440p or above I doubt you will see much cpu limitation in any game.

That's a great combo for 1080p (high/ultra) or 1440p (medium/high) triple A gaming. You'll get another 3 years out of that setup easy.
