i7 4790 or i7 4790K

I dont plan on over clocking, but which CPU has more power stock, meaning no OC. Some people are telling me that there is no point in getting the 4790K if I dont over clock it. Some good info would be much appreciated as I am learning about PC building.

Its the same CPU, one unlocked other is locked. Get a non K if you dont plan overclocking.

The k has faster clocks - even when not overclocked.

i7 4790K is great ! It is clocked higher than i7 4790
i7 4790K - 4.0/4.4GHz
i7 4790 3.6/4.0GHz

Moreover you can overclock i7 4790K .

If you have the money and, it's not much more expensive, the K one is the best one, but if not, the non-K one is the way to go, as you won't overclock.
