Hello guys.
I just bought this CPU for my new PC.. but when im playing BF3 for awhile it starts the beep sound for overheating.. I checked the bios.. it was set to 70 degrees celsius. Is 70-75 degree dangerous temperature for this CPU.. it is stock non K version with stock cooler. I changed the bios warning to 80 degree it i have no problems by now.. but im wondering if that temperature is okay under arround 70.

Solution
A Intel cpu will slow down or even shut off to protect itself from high temperatures.
I think your temps are nominal.
Check that your cooler is mounted well. All 4 pushpins should be through the motherboard and locked.
There should be no wiggle if you nudge the cooler.

You can help cooling if you want by removing the case side covers.

A simple tower type cooler with a 120mm fan will cool better and be quieter under load.
$30 for something like a cm hyper212.

So i have nothing to worry about ? But for summer i should buy some aftermarket cooler ? Because now its working only on 60-70%, what if something push it to 90%+ i believe temperatures will go higher and the stock cooler wont be enough ? :S

Hello... You bought the fastest speed CPU in that Model of design CHIP...
Yes it will will Run HOT... And thus you most take into concideration as to where and how you will run this type of CPU in your evironment.
Typically I would use Water cooling on this type of CPU... for my customer.

What is your advice, should i buy some aftermarket cooler for it ?
It's non K version so it won't be overclocked.. maybe only multicore enhancement will be turned on once it's needed. It will be used mainly for gaming. Thanks in advance :)
