i7-4790 RAM XMP compability question

Hey!
MY pc specs:
i7-4790 3.6ghz ( its not k version)
z97-k
gtx 980 gigabyte stock clock
fsp raider 650w
scythe mugen max cooler

my ram: http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KHX18C10_8.pdf

atm i use profile #1, because i bought it as 1866... but i didn't know back then that i7-4790 don't support it, at least intel says that on official 4790 specs. i read it only supports 1600mhz
but some say i benefit from using it on 1866, however the 1866 profile is a command rate 2T profile..

i have 2 profiles in uefi bios:
xmp#1: DDR3-1600 9-9-9-27-1.5v-1.2v
xmp#2: DDR3-1866 10-11-10-30-2N-1.5v-1.3v

which should i choose to benefit the most??

Try them both.
But, do not expect any noticeable difference .
The faster speed is offset by slower timings.

so there isn't any compability issue with the cpu and the 1866 mhz? intel page says max is 1600
