I7-4790K + 1.65v RAM = Will I have to up my CPU voltage?

Hey guys...

I'm also getting an Asus Z97-A motherboard and according to the specs, it has XMP 1.3 profiles that will work with my Corsair Vengeance 2x8Gb DDR3-2400 RAM modules.

The only issue is that these modules run on 1.65v.



Do I have to up the CPU voltage from stock voltage as well?

I'm not planning on OCing the CPU at the moment.

You do not haveto adjust the cpu voltage, you just have to adjust the xmp settings to supply enough voltage.
