I7 4790k @ 4.8GHz 1.285volts overclock temps.

Idle temps are around 27-35C. And while full load it maxs out around 65-70C. Is this better than normal for this chip, or is this a pretty normal over clock?

Didn't you effectively ask this same thing here? Two people already told you that was a good OC for that CPU. How many do you need?

That's a good temp. my friends 4790k runs at 63c at 4.4ghz (he uses a hyper 212 cooler), so you are doing great.
