i7 4790k 95-100°C at 5% usage

My CPU reaches 95-100°C straight after booting. It gets my cpu speed really low (it should be 3.60GHz and it runs at 0.30 - 1.20GHz). I have already checked the fans and reapplied the thermal paste. I have also checked if the heatsink's fine and it is. Is there anything I have to do for this?

Nope, my pc isn't overclocked and yes, it had been working fine for at least 3 years.

Mhh, can you please explain the meaning of AIO Cooler? I know it means All in one but I don't how how to distinguish them, sorry.

AIO are the water coolers that come preassembled and usually you cannot take apart.

it seems like the AIO is at its endlife

A common problem with AIO coolers is the pump dying. If you touch the top of the cpu can you feel the pump running?

If no it is time for a new cooler or if still in warranty then RMA.

Try to restore bios defaults first. It looks like the cpu throttles right away but i doubt those readings are accurate. It could be the mobo temp sensors being bad. If you have a setting in your bios about thermal monitoring try to change it and see what it does.

I actually don't feel anything there... The tubes aren't hot or cold and I can't feel any pump.

BIOS is already at its defaults. I noticed that just surfing the net doesn't afflict the speed, whereas playing games does.
I'll try changing that thermal monitoring setting, if it exists.
EDIT: It's now running at 1.20GHz just being here on Chrome. What a shame.
