Hey everyone,
I want to upgrade my existing i7-4790K and GTX 970 by another GTX 970.
I have MSI Z97 GAMING 5 motherboard, Kingston 16GB DDR3 2400MHz, 1TB WD Black HDD and 240GB Kingston SSD, Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX and in total 7 fans (including 4 on my CPU water cooler).
I want to ask, if Corsair RM750 will be enough for this rig?

Solution
If your just talking about the regular RM then a big NO don't buy!!!!!!!!
I would look at the EVGA G2 series and 850 Watts for SLI 970's a 750 will work but go ahead and get the extra head room for overclocking your 4790K.
I would also strongly recommend considering selling your 970 and buying a GTX 980ti. True when the scaling of SLI is good in a certain game the SLI will give a bit better performance in the all around performance the 980ti will win out and you can run it on a 650 Watt PSU with your setup and still have overclocking room.

If you really want to stick with Corsair The RMI,HXI and AXI are better choices in that order with the AXI at the top. Ialways like to leabe some headroom for future upgrades so I agree look for an 850 watt unless your budget is making you stick to a 750watt. If thats the case the lowerst corsair I would recomend would be the RMI750 watt not the rm as it is a lower tier supply not the best for gaming.
