Hi guys,

So i currently have the i7-4790k (Devils Canyon) and the MSI Z97-Gaming 5 motherboard.
I've been having some major issues with it and its currently been the 4th day owning them. First off, after about 40 minutes of light gaming, heavy gaming, or just complete idling, the computer in all just completely crashes. If the computer doesn't crash, i get a memory error saying, " The Required data was not placed into memory because I/O enter status of Oxc00000c0". WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.
Is it my memory or my hard drive or WHAT !

My current specs:
i7 4790k
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
4gb X 2 Corsair Vengeance DDR3
Gigabyte R9 270 OC
EVGA 500 W PSU

PLEASE HELP ME. Do i need a different mobo?

How about simply reinstalling windows, arguably on an other hdd? That fixes issues more often than it does not. Also, you need to give more information on the errors. They don't seem to be bluescreenes, so where do you get them and how are they visualized. Message box?
First thing I would do is run a disk check. In the W7 or W8 search window, type "chkdsk.exe", right click on it and select "Run as administrator". Or you can use a health checker like Seagate SeaTools (works for any brand HDD), or a health checker provided by the drive manufacturer if it's an SSD. If that comes out okay, I'd go to the mobo support site linked below and make sure your BIOS and drivers are all up to date.

Well now i have another issue: i cannot get passed the log in. It says, " The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded"

1) run MEMTEST first www.memtest.org
- run for a full pass (roughly 30min per 8GB)

If it fails you have bad DDR3 memory, bad motherboard, or timing error

2) update motherboard BIOS (run Memtest first.)

3) use "XMP" settings in BIOS and save if you haven't done so, and ensure the CPU is set to default (4.4GHz turbo?)

4) run CPU diagnostic:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=19792

5) I couldn't find the error code you listed. Is it typed correctly?

6) If it turns out to be a MEMORY error you should test each stick one at a time with Memtest. I
a) If one stick passes and one fails it's definitely defective memory
b) If both fail it may be the motherboard or timing issue
c) *Read the motherboard manual and only use the DDR3 slots recommended (may be #2 and #4 with two sticks, and only #4 with one stick but it varies)

7) Other:
If the DDR3 memory was the issue then your Windows installation MAY be defective. If Memtest fails and you fix the problem, then it passes just run Windows like normal but if you get an error it may require reinstallation of Windows.

I conducted all the tests and all passed?

Well i will need to buy a new SSD or HDD, but the errors just pop up as I'm using an application. It closes out all my windows and shows only my wallpaper. Then an error pops up: The Required data was not placed into memory because I/O enter status of Oxc00000c0"

Ahhh i see, so i just need to reinstall windows on a new HDD or SDD?
