i7 4790K, ASUS VII HERO, 2400Mhz RAM

Hello there, Im new this whole PC Building and shiz, and i just need a little bit of help

So i have bought :
i7 4790K Devils Canyon 4.0ghz
ASUS MAXIMUS ROG VII HERO
Avexir Blitz 1.1 Original DDR3 2400MHz

and my concern is about the RAM not being compatible with the CPU and or Motherboard.

So if these are all compatible could you please tell me and if theres any issues with the parts not going to work together....

It will work, it's just the RAM will underclock itself to 1600 mhz. You can overclock/up the RAM's speed, but you'd have to up the RAM voltage.

The I7 4790K supports 2400MHz RAM frequency, but it must be set in BIOS as the RAM wil be automaticly set on the default clock(1600MHz). Except that you have no problem with that combo.
