I have purchased the three parts above to build a new PC. I am just wondering whether I am going to have any comparability issues, I have heard 2400mhz ram does not run well with some setups. Thank you for your time!

no issue .... no compatibility problem at all

No issue but you could just buy normal RAM and a better graphics card and have much more performance for that money.

I purchased the the EVGA GTX 980 SC in conjunction with those parts. I realized after purchasing the 2400mhz RAM that the upgrade over generic RAM was quite minuscule. To be honest this will be my first time building a PC, so I am learning on the fly 😉 Thanks for the timely responses guys!

You need to update the bios before you can use the 4790k
