Question i7 4790k Dying? Please help

Hello guys, I have an intel i7 4790k( in stock) for 2 years now, it has been an amazing processor. I used to play Overwatch, pubg, bf at higher fps due to my GTX 1080. But, in the last couple of months it has been suffering, the cpu usage goes straight to 100% in those games now in high density areas, and the cpu temp gets top 80C on hot summer's day ! I don't know what is happening and i have already reinstalled the system and drivers!

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Include PSU. Make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Has the system ever been cleaned of dust, debris, etc.? New thermal paste?

All fans running, no blocked air flows.

In Task Manager or Resource Monitor observe what all is running on your system.

First without gaming and then while gaming. Check the difference in CPU %.

would clean off the thermal paste and reapply or see whats happening if your using AIO watercooling it might be jammed and need cleaning.
