i7 4790k evga z87 classified bios problems

Ok, so I bought this motherboard with the intentions of quad sli. The problem is I cannot seam to update the bios FROM the bios. I have tried using my i7 4790k and my celeron g1820. I can get into the bios sometimes, but even when I do I cannot find where to update the bios.

It says I have bios v1.05, which I thought was compatible with the haswell refresh.

Either way, I need to know how to update the bios and I would really like a list of supported cpu's before and after bios updates in case I have to purchase another cpu for the bios update. Thanks.

Go to evga site to download and install the newer version BIOS 1.09 http://www.evga.com/support/download/default.aspx
I think you may need login the "MY EVGA" for more info how to update the BIOS.

I already downloaded the latest bios. Based on what I saw the only way to install the bios update is through command prompt or in the OS.
