i have i7 4790k and today while i was playing assassins creed origins my processor started heating upto 95 degrees
i got bit worried i immediatly exit the game and restarted the pc and again when i played it was running between 75 to 80 degrees
what you think might be the problem..this has happened to me thrice this month

Ok well depending on your budget and what will fit in your case, you will want to upgrade to an after market cooler like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo or whatever is the newest in the 212 series for like $30-35 or a Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 for aorund $20-25. You could go for an even better cooler for $60-90, but you might not need it.

well thank you ill check these and buy one of them

As Third-Eye said, get a better cooler. I've got the same processor and have run the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on it with zero heating issues even when pushing all the cores and processes with any number of high frame rate, high settings games. Been doing this cooler on my intel cpus for years.

Current system: i7-4790K @4.0GHz, MSI Z97 Gaming 5, 16GB DDR3 dual channel, EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
