Hello, a few days ago I put together a new build and I don't think my CPU is performing as well as it should, I think this because when I run Cinebench I score 798 which just falls under a 4770k and looking up other results for my CPU it seem every else is gettin 850+ on Cinebench. I've been monitoring my temperatures and they seem to be fine. This also affects my GPU benchmarks.

CPU: i7-4790k

GPU: GTX Geforce Gigabyte 980Ti Gaming G1 6GB

Motherboard: Asus Ranger

Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: just closed all applications and re-run the benchmark and recieved a score perfect with what other people have gotten.

I also had an existing operating system when installing my drives into my new PC. Would you recommend a fresh install of Windows or is there a program to fix my drivers, they seem to be all out of date including Z97 Chipset drivers and 4th Gen Core processor driver would these be affecting performance? and some may be overlapping with my old hardware drivers. Thanks.

Ok thankyou, one last question is that my 3D mark 11 score is about 6000-7000 points under on my 980ti G1 for what other people have scored with it, do you think that reinstalling Windows and drivers will increase that performance?

Yes it should help. Like the person above said, whenever you install a new mobo, cpu, or even RAM or upgrade/change your OS, it's best to do a fresh install if you can.
