i7-4790k or Ryzen?

So i have a MSI Gaming 5 Mobo. however it is a little older. So do i save my money and get the i7 or buy new mobo and RAM and CPU?

I would save money old intel i5 and i7 are tanks and still proform extremely well even 1st gen

A stock 4790k will probably be right with or even better in some games than Ryzen. Overclock it a little bit and it will edge the new AMD chips out still, Its still a vary strong chip.
