i7-4790k overclock temps too high

So I just got a new i7-4790k and I managed to overclock it to 4.8ghz @ 1.330V (still testing, so this will probably be tweaked up/down accordingly within the next day or two) but the temps seem to be running awfully high. I'm cooling it with a Corsair H105 with 2 noctua NF-F12s running full speed and under Aida64 stress test it hits max temps of high 80s to low 90s with the averages being mid 70s. From what I've been reading online, normal temps for Aida64 with this kind of overclock and a decent cooling solution should yield around a max of mid 70s or so. I've tried reseating the cooler to make sure its mounted properly and also reapplying the thermal paste - neither of these solutions have changed the high temperature problem. I have the cooler in an exhaust config - so from top to bottom, case -> fans -> radiator. Any idea/suggestions?

sorry, I'm quite new to overclocking. So would it be correct to say that even with a good cooling solution, if I get unlucky with the whole chip lottery, the chip can still run way hotter than it should?
